What a meaningful day! <3 div="">3>
Today he came to my house to make kuih momo with me!
I think I never eat kuih momo before, so I don't know how it tastes like, but lots of my friends LIKE it!
So I gave it a try!
I think I was so LUCKY because most of the people who made it for the first time hard to make it melt easily once it put into the mouth. And I made it successfully! I was so HAPPY! :D
Here's my recipe:
Ingredient:
Minyak sapi / Ghee oil - 200g
Flour - 350g (Choose the flour which is suitable for making cookie or cake)
Egg york - 1 (Don't use an egg which is too small)
Milk powder (for decoration)
Castor sugar (for decoration)
1. Sieve the flour. Heat the flour with Celsius degree of 100 for 10 minutes and let it cool down. (This is an important step to make the flour dry, most of the people don't do this and that's why their kuih momo will not melt easily.) Besides heating it, you can fry the flour.
2. Mix and stir Ghee oil and egg york. (I stir it for a while only)
3. Pour the flour in step 1 into the mixture in step 2.
4. Stir again! (Do not stir it vigorously. Stir for 1 minute is enough, stir it slowly.)
5. Take about 5g of mixture out and make it into a small ball.
6. Heat it with Celsius degree of 150 for 30 minutes. (The colour of the small balls will look paler.)
7. Sprinkle the mixture of milk powder and castor sugar on it. Put it into the paper cup by using chopstick.
8. Done! Eat it!
