I went to DIY shop @ Jalan Kereta Api to buy something I wish to buy for a long time. That's paper cup for Hokkaido Chiffon cake or square paper cup. It's hard to be found in supermarket. I went to DIY because I saw my relative bought that kind of paper cup from there. So happy! Now, I need to rush for my presentation, bye! :)

Diary ღ 29 June 2014 ღ

Planned to go to relative's house today to give them our old shoes which are too small for us since we grew up. Unfortunately, they were not at home that time. So, we went to the 100% enterprise @ Batu Kawa. After that I wanted to buy some baking stuffs from DIY shop but it was closed today, sob sob. And then we went to Boulevard. Actually I was quite lazy to walk that time but I still needed to follow my mum.
Today's dinner at Kimbay @ Boulevard.
I ordered Prawn dumplings noodle and hot Chinese tea. They cost RM7.90 and RM1.20 each. xD

Nothing to do today although I felt busy. My aunt came and asked whether I got the recipe for the pineapple biscuit or not, and my mind was thinking "yes! I got something to do today". I drove to Choice's Market at 4pm with my aunt. We bought butter and superfine flour from there and ghee from Everrise. At 5.45pm, we started to make pineapple biscuit. It only took about 30 minutes to do it and another 30 minutes to bake it. My aunt baked it because I was going to Padawan fair to have my dinner with my family except my dad.
I saw a foreigner who was selling his BBQ chicken wings, porks and so on. We bought chicken wings from him, 4 for RM10. I bought fried rice and sausage too!

Yesterday I tried to make jelly by using gelatin powder.

Orange Jelly
Ingredient:
- Gelatin powder (3 tsp/8-10g)
- Cold water (25ml)
-  Orange juice (400ml) *You can choose any fruit juice you want
- Caster sugar (20g) *But I used 10g

Method:
1. Pour cold water into gelatin powder, immerse it for at least 5 minutes.
2. Cook gelatin until it dissolve in water by using the method below.
3. Remove the gelatin from the pan, pour orange juice and sugar into it, heat and stir it until sugar dissolves in orange juice.
4. Pour dissolved gelatin into orange juice which is in the pan.
5. Pour the mixture into glass or container.
6. Put them into refrigerator and wait for at least 5 hours.





While waiting for the jelly, my mum made sushi! YUMMY~
This time she forgot to buy cucumber, so the sushi not "crispy" LOL
It looked not nice because it was so hard to be cut by using knife which is not really sharp.

I woke up at 9 a.m. today earlier than the other days because I had to date with someone!
We went to his house first after he couldn't find any medicine he wanted to buy. Before that, his car "stepped on" dog faeces so he had to wash his car first. After that replicate the key which ordered by his mum. Then, we went to Piccolo Cafe to have our lunch!

今早感觉懒懒的,想准备考试,但由于我太懒了,所以现在的进度还是 0。
打算再次挑战上次的失败品——泡芙 & 香兰戚风蛋糕。
本来觉得戚风蛋糕会比较容易因为我已经会打蛋白霜了*上次就是因为蛋白霜的关系而失败*。但由于材料不足,放弃了!
至于泡芙嘛, 由于上一次的失败留下阴影,所以有点不太想试。但读了许多关于泡芙的文章,增加了许多知识,开始有点信心了!
泡芙文章
泡芙其实是个外酥内软的小点心,而不是整个都是软的(我一开始也误解了)。
泡芙的材料少,步骤少,可是要注意很多地方!
拿了 Carol 的食谱 ,再称一下牛油,刚刚好!
好吧!开工吧!


【泡芙体】

材料:
鸡蛋 Egg - 2 个
无盐牛油 Unsalted Butter - 45g
水 Water - 85ml
面粉 Flour - 55g
盐 Salt - 1/8 tsp

做法:
1. 过筛面粉(什么面粉都可用,无论是低筋面粉,中筋面粉或是高筋面粉,最好是用低筋面粉,但我用中筋面粉)。
2. 把水,盐和无盐牛油放入锅里,用中小火煮至沸腾,转小火。
3. 将面粉一次性倒入锅里,快速用木匙搅拌成面团,面团不粘锅(如第一格图)即可关火。
4. 待面团凉(不烫手)时,将两粒蛋打散。
5. *一定要等面团凉了才加蛋,不然你的蛋会直接熟了* 把蛋液分 4-5 次倒入面团搅拌,一定要搅拌均匀后才可以加下一次的蛋液。
6. 如果用木匙拿起面糊是形成倒三角(如图),请停止加蛋!!即使还有多余的蛋液。如果还无法呈现倒三角,就继续加蛋。
7. 把面糊倒入裱花带里,挤在烤盘上。或者直接用汤匙舀了再放在烤盘上。
8. 用手指将尖尖的部分抹平。
9. 进烤箱前朝面糊表面喷水(避免一进炉就將表面烤乾影响膨胀)。
10. 以 200C 烤10 分钟,再以190C 烤10分钟,然后以 180C 烤15分钟,最后放在烤箱里闷10分钟。*全程不可打开烤炉的盖,不然泡芙会塌*
11. 放凉后可以放入卡士达酱、冰淇淋、kaya等,或者直接享用。
