光棍节快乐!
Today was a day which celebrate by single person. Hehe!

Well, I baked macaron today. I wanna try what it tastes like. I did some "researches" and my "research" stated that it tastes sweet and its outer part is hard. I did an "experiment" to prove the statement.

This is my macaron. Not perfect.
Most of my pink macarons broke, maybe it's because of my pink macaron mixture was more dilute compared to my green one. I will be careful next time.

Here's the ingredient and the method.

【Macaron】
Ingredient:
Icing sugar - 50g
Almond powder - 50g
Caster sugar - 40g
Egg white - 30g (I used 1 egg)
Food colouring - 3 drops

Method:
1. Add in food colouring into egg white. (I added after I done beating, should add it before beating.)
2. Beat the egg white until stiff, add in caster sugar spoon by spoon when beating the egg white.
3. Sift the icing sugar and almond powder. Add them into mixture (2).
4. Combine the mixture well by using cut & fold method.
5. Pour the batter into piping bag. Cut the tip of piping bag (1cm).
6. Pump the batter on the tray. (Size of macaron ≈ 50 cent coin of Malaysia)
*You can draw a circle and put the paper with the circles drawn under the parchment paper, so you can have accurate size of macacron.
7. Let the batter rest for at least 30 minutes. Make sure there is dry crust form over the surface by using your finger to touch the top of the macaron gently.
8. Poke the bubbles formed in macaron by using toothpick.
9. Put it into the oven and bake for 20 minutes with temperature of 140°C.
10. Pump the filling on one of the inner surface of macaron and use another macaron to sandwich it. (I used Hershey's Chocolate syrup as the filling.)
*If you want to make the cream, just add butter, melted chocolate and whipping cream together and mix well.

I watched a video before I started to bake it.

Step 2. I was very satisfied with my stiff egg white.

Step 5.

Step 7: Leave it for at least 30 minutes.

I can see the "lace dress".

Done!

It looks so ugly from this angle.

My macarons.
